ADIFs - Atomisation, Dispersion and Evaporation Characteristics of Alternative Fuels

The objective of this project is to contribute to the optimisation of alternative fuel powered engines (alternative or gas turbines) for transportation or heat and power generation as part of a sustainable energy production policy. The use of liquid and gaseous fuels from biomass will help fulfil the Kyoto targets concerning GHG emissions. The project aims to assess the atomization, dispersion and evaporation performances of these new fuels for clean and efficient power production.
